Tiny SPICES

Ages 0-4yrs
Fridays 9:30am-11:30am

River's Edge combines nature immersion, unstructured outdoor play, and environmental & outdoor education. We believe learning and play should not be separated!

Join River's Edge Forest Play and Third Haven Monthly Meeting for a unique partnership bringing mindfulness and nature play to your tiny tot and you. This parent/caregiver and child program offers a mindful exploration of simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship as we immerse your child in the joys of nature on Friday mornings.

Young children will explore nature with friends in a full body, hands-on, messy play way! Parents are guided in how to play with your little one in the forest and create similar play experiences at home!

Mindful Forest Immersion Fridays

Ages 4-11yrs
Fridays 1:30pm-4:30pm

River's Edge combines nature immersion, unstructured outdoor play, and environmental & outdoor education. We believe learning and play should not be separated!

Children will visit the Third Haven Meeting grounds this winter to find simplicity, integrity, community, equality, and stewardship as we immerse your child in finding nature in every environment.

Our goal is to increase awareness of and connection to the natural world in order to foster compassion and empathy for the earth and all its inhabitants. River's Edge invites children to engage all their senses and increase their observation skills through it's commitment to a child-driven flow learning, emergent curriculum and inquiry-based teaching style.

Our winter series will be held at Third Haven Meeting House Easton MD , January 11- March 8, 2019.
